Imagine a place bursting with vibrant art and colors, the birthplace of the iconic Frida Kahlo. That's Coyoacán, Mexico, where our Abuela Maria found her inspiration. Arriving at just 12 years old, she was captivated by the lively spirit and magical atmosphere, which ignited her passion for sewing and embroidery.


Fast forward to today, and Abuela's creations have found a new home in Miami! What began as a surprise gift for little Paola in 2024 has blossomed into a beautiful family business, sharing the joy and wonder of Coyoacán with you.



But the creativity doesn't stop with Abuela! She passed on her love for crafting to her children. Our Dad, a skilled shoemaker, now uses his expertise to create unique and beautiful pet collars – each one a work of art, as special as your furry friend.


At CASA BALAM, we're a family of makers, driven by a passion for our craft and a desire to bring a touch of Coyoacán magic to your home. Thank you for supporting our family and joining us on this journey of creativity and connection.
